Pavan Rao took part in the World Hip Hop Championship 2015 held in California as part of the team Kings United India. Despite several hardships, the group became the first-ever Indian dance team to win a medal by grabbing third place.

Since then, the team has reached places and achieved great heights. Pavan Rao conducted several dance workshops and appeared in some reality shows. In 2019, Pavan Rao and the Kings United India team, attended NBC’s World of Dance Season 3 in Los Angeles. The team made history by emerging as the championship and trended globally. In 2017, Pavan Rao decided to try at Peter England Mr. India’s 2017 pageant competition. Besides grabbing the titles Zeven Mr. Active, Mr. Talented, and Mr. Vibrant, Pavan Rao emerged as the second runner-up of the competition. As an actor, Pavan Rao played the role of Fahad in the 2020 movie Street Dancer 3D. He also debuted as a choreographer in the black comedy thriller movie AK vs AK for the song Khalaas.
