Shane Peacock

Shane Peacock was born on 25th of February in 1957. He is a very famous author of American origin. He is famous for his documentaries, playbooks, articles, and books that he writes for his little audiences and adults. One of Shane’s best works is The Boy Sherlock Holmes. It is a favorite among the children in Canada and even the adults love it. He has been awarded the Junior Library Guild from the American Premier Selection Awards Ceremony. One of his works, Eye of the Crow, has been awarded many awards.

To name a few of them, the Moonbeam Gold Medal, the Library Association of Canada rewarded him with the Honor Book for writing the book for both children and adults. For Eye of the Crow, he was also awarded the Violet Downey Award for writing the Best Children’s Literature book in entire Canada. Eye of The Crow was a crime thriller, and so it received the Arthur Ellis Award for the Best Crime Fiction in the Juvenile Category. It even secured the first rank among the Youth Crime stories collection in Canada.

He even won the national award for the Best literature book three consecutive times in the year 2010, for the book Vanishing Girl. He has also written some dramas and plays for the theater. His first play was written in the year 1994. The name of the play was The Great Farini. Then in the year 2000, he released his second play which was The Devil and the Joseph Scriven. His last play was released in theaters in 2006.

The name of the play was The Art of Silent Killing. He has also written two books based on the history of a particular person or an event. His first history book was released in the year 2005. The name of the book was The Great Farini: The High-Wire Life of W. Hunt. The name of the second history book which he wrote and published in the year 2002 was named Unusual Heroes. His album on The Boy Sherlock Holmes contained chapters on Eye of the Crow, Vanishing Girl, Death in the Air and much more. These parts were released in different years but were part of a single collection. His second collection was named The Dylan Maples Adventures in 2000.
