Harshad Chopra is an Indian Bollywood actor and model who has acted in several serials and appeared in several reality shows. He is from the Gondia district in Maharashtra. Due to pressure from his parents, Harshad was forced to study engineering after moving to Pune after his schooling. He has reportedly said that he always wanted to become an actor and acting was a passion since his childhood. After his engineering, he went out to Mumbai to audition for Zee TV’s serial Mamta and landed the role of Karan Shrivastav.

’. Reports suggest that his character was loosely based on Mahatma Gandhi. This role brought him name and fame from all critics and fans alike.
Harshad then played as Raghavendra Pratap Singh on the Life OK show ‘Dil Se Di Dua’ opposite
but quit halfway expressing lack of interest. In the 2008 Star Parivar Awards, he has adjudged the Favourite Yogya Jodi along with Aditi Gupta. He also won the 2010 Indian Telly Award for Best Actor for his performance in ‘Tere Liye’.
