Disha Gaur

Disha Gaur is a fashion connoisseur, fashion designer, fashion director, fashion consultant, and educator. She is an experienced fashion editor with a demonstrated history of working in the retail industry. She is skilled in Trend Analysis, Textiles, Fashion Illustration, Retail, and Fashion Design. She was born on June 8. She took a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Fashion Design at Pearl Academy of Fashion, affiliated with Nottingham Trent University, UK (2007 – 2011). In college, she was the winner of the "Best Practical Collection Award."

As a fashion designer, Disha Gaur represented the college on MTV – Making the Cut Season II. She also represented the college in various dancing, singing, sports events, and Calendar competitions & Triumph Lingerie competitions. Disha Gaur featured and blog writing for Fashionandyou.com. She also did a Bachelor's degree focused on B.A (Hons) English at School of Learning, University of Delhi (2008 – 2011). She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi languages.

Disha Gaur worked as a fashion designer at Bodice (Design Studio) in New Delhi for seven months (June 2011 – Dec 2011). She was responsible for visual merchandising, pattern making, and designing of clothes & accessories, dealing with buyers & clients, and dealing with magazines like Elle, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, and Grazia. As a senior lingerie stylist & marketing executive, Disha Gaur worked at Yebhi.com in New Delhi for over a year (Dec 2011 – Mar 2013). She was responsible for content writing for the portal and social media pages. Disha Gaur was a photographer, blogger, and interviewer for PEPSI Footy Finale – T20. She also interviewed Indian Cricketer Virat Kohli and Indian Footballer Baichung Bhutia. 

Disha Gaur was a lead fashion editor and creative coordinator at Landmark Group in Dubai for three years, from Jun 2014 to Jul 2017. She introduced and established model/ product photography and fashion styling for brands such as Max, Splash, Babyshop, Homecentre, Lifestyle, and Shoemart. Disha Gaur coordinated with assistant stylists, photographers, graphic editors/ designers, buyers, merchandisers, and designers season-to-season. She also established and sustained relationships with more than fifteen vendors for sourcing editing, makeup artists, models, etc. She trained the team on visual quality control and managed the schedule of the photoshoots. Since Aug 2017, Disha Gaur has worked as an educator at the FAD Institute of Luxury Fashion & Style in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
