Later he came back to India to study his undergraduate at University of Lucknow, Lucknow. Even during his graduate at Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Shitiz Srivastava never realized that he is going to have a career in film industry.

He started working as a software engineer at Infosys, Mysore and decided to go to Mumbai to achieve his goal; to be a director. With the little amount in his bank account, the director determined to start his movie journey and struggled a lot to get an opportunity in Bollywood. With a little luck and hard work, Shitiz got an offer to work as an assistant director for the film “ Love Love is an Indian TV serial in the Telugu language >> Read More... ” made by “abhineet Gogne”. After the release of the picture Srivastava made few contacts in the Hindi film industry and immediately got another offer as an assistant art director for the “Soundtrack” in 2011 under the production of HMV SaReGaMa. Shitiz Srivastava directed many advertisements such as Bombay times, Cadbury’s, Aditya Birla Insurance and Hero Motors, etc while he was working as an art director. An Indo-Russian picture “One more” based on ice hockey; an award-winning director Shivajee Chandrabhushan’s movie gave Srivastava a chance to be his assistant director. This release was the career changing point for Shitiz as this picture won so many national and international awards. In 2013, under the Room 102 Productions, Shitiz Srivastava scripted, screen played and directed a film “Amphigory” a boxing based flick. Not only did he take care of the technical part but he also starred in the film. This picture had won the hearts of critics and showered so many positive reviews. In the same year, he released one more movie “Lasafot” under the Rudra Abhishek productions. In between working for the feature films as a director and assistant director, Shitiz Srivastava also made few short films too.

He released a small film in 2012 with the title “Madha Story” which won rewards and awards and “Colors of Woman” in 2011. He launched a book with the title “Amphigory”. Shitiz never stopped there but did so many tasks. He edits, creates visuals, illustrates and also does photoshop and an experienced photographer and very well knows about Canon 550D, 5D and Red Epic.
