Vicky Chauhan is a famous hill folk singer. He is a native of Chhajpur village in Himachal Pradesh. His parents are Chandrakala and Narendra Singh Chauhan. Vicky has done a double MA in political science and history, has also done diploma courses in German and Russian languages and journalism courses in 2014-15. He used to participate in youth festivals with Amar Ujala, a famous folk singer.
His first album was Neeru Chali Ghoomdi Geet in the year 2001, which was a hit. Jhumke-Jhumke is one of his best works. Vicky Chauhan sang around 200 songs, most of them are folk. He even signed an agreement in Hindi films.
