Kiran Yadnyopavit is a director of the Hindi and Marathi Film and Television industries. He is a resident of Pune, Maharashtra. He went to Shri Fattechand Jain Vidyalaya for his schooling and then to Mate School, Chinchwad, Pune. Kiran graduated from Nowrosjee Wadia College, Pune, and had done his Post-Graduation from Symbiosis, Pune.
His first debut as a musician was for the Marathi film “Sukhant” (2009). With “Taryanche Bait” (2011), Kiran made his directorial debut, winning the Audience Award for Best Marathi Competition Film for Best Director. The film was released while Marathi cinema was still in its early stages of resurgence in the new millennium, and it gained widespread critical acclaim. It is still regarded as one of the best Marathi films of the last ten years.

His most recent work is “Scam 2003: The Curious Case of Abdul Karim Telgi” (2021), where he has worked as a screenwriter. Kiran is an all-rounder and is an exceptionally talented actor, director, and screenwriter.
