Siddharth Nagar

Siddharth Nagar is an Indian actor, director, writer, and producer who predominantly works in the Hindi film industry. He was born and raised in the city of Mumbai in Maharashtra. Siddharth Nagar began his journey in the world of entertainment at a very young age. He first started working as a child artist and showcased his talents in drama on platforms such as Akashwani, theater, Doordarshan, and a few films. As an adult, Siddharth Nagar played minor supporting roles in films like ‘Subah Hone Tak’ (1988) and ‘Babul’ (1986).

Around the age of 23,  he shifted his focus from acting to producing, making his debut with the serial ‘Dadi Maa,’ which aired on Doordarshan. Despite his experience and connections in the film industry, Siddharth Nagar initially struggled to gain the confidence of his coworkers due to his age. But after working on ‘Dadi Maa,’ he went on to work on more serials, short series, and music based programs for Doordarshan. As time progressed, Siddharth Nagar took on the role of a director, overseeing the creation of numerous successful small-screen serials. From that point onward, there was no turning back.

Alongside producing and directing, Siddharth Nagar also ventured into writing for serials such as ‘Koi Toh Ho Ardhnarishwar’ (2010). He is also known for his role as a director for the popular TV serial ‘Shiksha – Ek Majboot Adhaarshila,’ which aired on Doordarshan's Kisan Channel.

The show has received acclaim for its content, earning positive reviews and achieving high TRP ratings. Fondly known as a popular farmer's show, it adds another genre to Siddharth Nagar's cap as a diverse contributor to the world of television. Siddharth Nagar's collaboration and creative journey with Doordarshan has continued to thrive for many years. To date, he takes pride in having contributed 2000 hours of televised programming to the industry.
