Vinay Khandelwal

Vinay Khandelwal, a Delhi-based dancer, is originally from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. He is a dancer and choreographer for sixteen years. He auditioned for the reality show, 'Dance Plus' and 'So you think you can dance.’ He has been a part of the Shiamak Davar Institute for seven years. His major achievement is to be cast in the movie, 'Street Dancer 3D' as Faiz.

He describes it as crazy experience. During the shoot, he even had a ligament tear in the left knee, and doctors advised him not to dance. Since dance is his passion, so he did it anyway but with precautions. He was very nervous to face the camera, especially alongside major actors of Bollywood. He got into dance accidentally.

He was forced by his mother to dance at his brother's wedding; from there, he developed a passion for dance. Questions were raised when he chose dance as a career because he came from a business family, but eventually, things fell in the right place. He has done hundreds of shows and organizes the event, 'experience the stage', where choreographers and talented dancers judge the championship. It is one of the biggest dance championships.  

He is also the founder of 'Higher Vision Crew,' which auditioned for Dance Plus. He is currently working on his tour, 'guidance tour,’ a dance camp that tours around India, bringing all dancers under one umbrella. He wants to keep choreographing and inspire youth to opt for dancing (as a career). He wishes to work on music videos.

He admires Lyle Beniga, a dancer/choreographer from Los Angeles, trained in all forms of dance but masters the freestyle hip-hop. He performed on the Michael Jackson Story soon >> Read More... tribute at the VMAs.
