Manik Paul is a dancer and gymnast. He was born in a small town in Arunachal Pradesh. Presently. He has a strong personality with a height of 5 feet and 6 inches. He is a new young face in the TV industry. He is the winner of India's Got Talent Show Season 6, in 2015. After winning the show, he gained popularity from the public. IGT is a famous show that telecasted on the channel, Colors, with a new season every year. He has stolen millions of hearts though his aerial dance. He had a dream to make his mother proud and happy.

Highlighting Manik's life, his idol in his life is his mother. Paul's mother worked in a teashop. His father died in a terrorist attack in 1999 at the Barpeta Road in Assam. He left Assam and moved to Kolkata for his dreams and studies. He wanted to be in the army. Therefore, he started training in martial arts. Later, he moved into the world of dance. Then, he joined a dance group, and had more training and practice sessions in Mumbai.

His journey from a normal boy to the winner of IGT was not easy, rather it was exceptional. He competed against six other contestants. Those were Beat Breakers, XIX Dance Group, Parry G and Harman Preet Kaur, Prahlad Acharya from Bengaluru, and a gymnast, Yogeshwari Mistry. Its grand finale aired on 27th of June, 2015, on Colors TV, at 9 pm. Bharti Singh, Siddharth Shukla, and Nakuul Mehta hosted the show. Malaika Arora Khan, Karan Johar, and Kirron Kher are the fixed judges of this reality show.

The show gave Manik a Maruti Celerio car, along with a cash prize of 50 lakhs. He states that his win will be a step forward in the Bollywood industry. As he spent all of his childhood in poverty, he told that he would buy a home for his mother. He said that now his mother would not have to worry anymore.

He started his own institute and teaches gymnastics to poor children. As his dancing was fully equipped with athletics and aerial from, it impressed his admirer and the choreographer, Remo D'Souza. Remo promised Paul that he would soon give him a chance and will work with him. Presently, he has to entertain the public in life events and is pursuing a diploma in dance through Terence Lewis Academy. Then, he will learn the contemporary dance form.
