Rohit Bal

Rohit Bal is an Indian fashion designer who has a vast experience in fashion designing and he is among a few internationally recognized fashion designers, who have been successful in making the Indian way of dressing recognizable internationally. The main contribution of Rohit Bal and his league of fashion designers is to make India and the world aware of its traditional clothing style and colorful sense of dressing. He was born in Kashmir and raised in Delhi. A

fter his initial schooling in Kashmir, he joined the famous St. Stephens College. After his graduation, he joined National Institute of Fashion Technology. We can see that he brought all glory and a feeling of pride to his Alma Mater NIFT later in his career. Initially, he picked up the line of business, but soon he realized his real love which was fashion designing. He worked for almost all Bollywood stars and prominent models in his career.

His first collection of designs was launched in 1990 and till date he has several national and international awards tagged to his name. He won 'Designer of the Year' at the Kingfisher Fashion Achievement Awards in 2001, 'Designer of the Year' award at the Indian Fashion Awards in 2006 & the Lakme Grand Finale Designer for 2012. He is an established fashion designer with his extensive clothing line stores in almost all metro cities.
