Kammo, born Kamarjehan, was an actress in the Hindi film industry. She was born on 28^th November 1938 in Saharanpur. Kammo had 4 sisters and 2 brothers. In 1949, her family shifted to Bombay. After settling in Bombay, Kammo dreamed of entering into films. Kammo joined Master Badriprasad, a dance choreographer. She was just 13 when he joined his team. She worked as a group dancer in a couple of movies. In 1952, Badriprasad provided her with an opportunity to appear as a solo dancer in Sindbad The Sailor.
