Ashrita Shetty

A young actress in the making, Ashrita Shetty is an Indian film actress. Her way into the industry was purely based on luck and her sheer talent. In 2010, at the age of 17, Ashrita participated in The Times of India Clean & Clear Fresh Face, which is a beauty contest held every year. She first won in Mumbai and then went to win the contest on a national level. This gave her a chance to be the face of the brand for a year. In 2012, she made her entry into the film industry with her debut movie called Telikeda Bolli, a Tulu film. While she worked on this project, she continued appearing in several television commercials.

Her work was soon noticed by directors like Vetrimaaran and Manimaaran. In their next film - Udhayam NH4, they approached her for the lead role, and she accepted the offer. Her performance in the film gained her multiple reviews, with one review that suggested that Ashrita shows a lot of promise in the field of cinema.

Although she was offered a couple of Hindi films before Udhayam NH4, she did not consider acting as a serious career option until this project along. She is currently working on two projects, both of them in the making. However, with the performance, she is delivering and her dedication to her work, she is sure to make her mark in the film industry.
