Seema Mody is an Indian-American television journalist. She is currently a correspondent for CNBC. Mody was born in India and immigrated to the U.S. when he was four. She was raised in New Jersey and earned an economics degree from Rutgers University. She later started her job at CNN as a production assistant. She later became a reporter and producer for CNN. In 2001, she joined CNBC, covering various stories, including the 2008 financial crisis and the 2016 presidential election. Mody has won several awards for her work, including a Peabody Award and an Emmy Award.
