Stephen Elliot Rivkin, an American film editor, was born in Minneapolis in Minnesota of the United States. In 1975 he completed his graduation from the College of Art and Design in Minneapolis. He is the brother of musicians Bobby Z. and David Z. and married to Dina Morrone. Rivkin started his career with a short film, “Ain’t We Having Fun?” in 1976. He has worked as the editor of many Hollywood films, but he is well known for his editing works in “
” (2009) and the Pirates of the Caribbean series comprising of “The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” (2003),
“The Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” (2006) and “The Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” (2007). He had worked closely with director
for “Avatar.” The Academy Awards council nominated him for his work on “Avatar.” He had also worked with directors like Norman Jewison and
