Kazi Roksana Ruma is a Bangladeshi director and scriptwriter, who graduated from the University of Dhaka in 2000. In her college days, she was a student in the Department of Dramatics. She has also worked in Public relations, marketing and strategic planning. She is an Executive Director at AIMS, Bangladesh. It is a social communication and strategy development organisation. Throughout her college years and beyond she has acted in many stage dramas and in street dramas. She is a documentary filmmaker. The documentaries she has made have been on topics including the effects of climate change, agriculture, health and hygiene and water and sanitation. She is also known for her work in Boli.
