Ripon Nath is a dynamic sound designer, and sound recordist predominantly in the Bangladeshi film industry. He was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and grew up in Dhaka, Chittagong, and Rajbari. His father was a government employee, his mother is a homemaker, and he has six siblings; five of them elder to him, and one younger one. He pursued his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration and management at National University, Bangladesh. He received the initial training in sound design by a well-known sound engineer Ratan Pal. He began his career by working at Asiatic’s Ddhoni Chitra, a famous advertising firm in Bangladesh. He diligently worked there for over ten years. Therefore, he began his career as a sound designer when he recorded location sound for a documentary. He has predominantly worked on numerous Bangladeshi films, web series, and web films. Also, he has efficiently worked on over 4000 advertisements.
