Her mother died on January 3, 2023, at the age of 89. She is also an active social worker. She is the Chief Trustee of the "Anil Kumar Sen Memorial Trust" (AKSMT), which supports cultural programs and provides financial assistance to elderly trainers, musicians, and welfare organizations. The charity has developed a cultural center named "DISHA," where she and other music and dance experts train approximately 300 students.
