Pratik Kundu

Pratik Kundu is a Bengali Music Director, Lyricist, Rapper, and Singer based in Kolkata. He is the youngest music director in the Bengali Music Industry. He was born on 16 November 1998. He has studied Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Computer from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata. He started his journey in music in school when he was in 5th standard. He used to write songs and also wrote a theme song for Techno India College of Technology. In 2009, he started pursuing singing as a professional career and later began to direct and compose music. 

Pratik made his debut in the Bengali music industry at the age of 21 with the movie, SOS Kolkata, released in 2020. The romantic song, ‘Thik bhul bhule aami’ of this film went viral within a few days of its release. The song was written and composed by Pratik himself, and Anwesha Dutta Gupta was the leading singer. The other song, ‘Haar Manbona’ also became popular among the audience.

After the success of this movie, Pratik composed music for various other Bengali movies and TV series, such as Guriya Jekhane Guddu Sekhane, Pratidwandi, Nirbhaya, Gaurav Bolchhi, Bijoya Dashami, Ogo Bideshini, Ei Poth Jodi Na Sesh Hoy and Borfi. Moreover, he is highly skilled in Cubase, Writing, Music Composition, Songwriting, Singing, Video Editing, Sound FX Editing, And FL Studio.
