Debraj Bhattacharya is an actor, singer and music composer. He is working in the Bengali Film Industry. He was in Bongaon High School and completed his higher studies at the University of Calcutta. Actor-musician Debraj Bhattacharya played an important role in filmmaker Anirban Bhattacharya’s successful debut feature film Ballabhpurer Roopkotha, based on Badal Sircar’s play of the same name. Debraj is known for his work in films like Ballabhpurer Roopkotha (2022), Bibaho Obhijaan (2019) and AMRITER SANDHANE: The Banaras Chapter (2023). He was also nominated as the best actor for a comic role in his film Ballabhpurer Roopkotha by the West Bengal Film Journalists’ Association (WBFJA).
