Ritam Sen is a lyricist and poet based in Kolkata who works mainly in the Tollywood industry. He has finished his graduation from Jadavpur University. At the beginning of his career, he worked under Shree Venkatesh Films and wrote songs for movies like Shahjahan Regency, Dracula Sir, and Cheeni. Some of his other famous songs are Elokeshe Elo Jochona, Jai Kali Kolkattawali, Ajo Toke Mone Pore, Tui Thak, Morichika, Somoy Jaye, Take Bole Diyo, Susomoye Bhalobasa Hobe, Byathar Train, Bhalolagar Gaan, and Bhago Re.
In 2018, Ritam won the Filmfare Awards East for best lyrics; his song name is Tomake Bujhina Priyo. This song belongs to the movie Prajapati Biscuit. Just after the release of this song, Ritam’s popularity skyrocketed because of the beautiful lyrics.
