Subhajit Singha is an editor working in the Indian film industry. He has worked mostly in the Bengali Film Industry. He was born in Dooars near West Bengal. He has done a course from a film school and post-graduation in Animation Creation and Direction. He worked as an assistant editor for the movie Cinemawala which was made in 2015 but released in 2016. The film Dhumketu (2016) was released before Cinemawala, and hence is his debut feature film. The film Cinemawala was nominated for the Bengali Filmfare Award (2016). He was also felicitated by the West Bengal Film Journalists` Association (WBFJA) in 2016 for being the best film editor.
He has worked as an editor for Bisorjon (2017), The Eunuch and the Flute Player (2017), Tarikh (2018), Seasons Greeting (2019), 17th September (2019), series- Paanch Phoron (2020), Saheber Cutlet (2020), the short film November 9 (2020), Swastik Sanket (2022), 6 episodes of the TV series Sampurna (2022) and Lokhi Chele (2022). He also was involved in the animation and visual effects for the movie Jonaki (2018). He received the West Bengal Film Journalists` Association (WBFJA) 2018 for Bisorjon.
