Suman Ghosh was born in 1972. He is a Film Director, Professor, and Economist. He studied B.Sc. Economics at Presidency College, Calcutta. He did his M.A.in Economics at Delhi School of Economics. He pursued his Ph.D. in Economics at Cornell University in 2002. He researched the topics of public economics, Personnel economics, and Development economics.
