Shyamal Bose is a famous Bengali actor and director. He has worked in many Bengali films as a screenwriter. He was born on 8th August 1963 in Kolkata, West Bengal. His parents were Robin Bose and Mukti Bose. He and his friend founded a Bengali theatre group. Bose named the group Baghbazar Natya Kendra. It’s a well-established theatre group in Kolkata. At a young age, Shyamal Bose stepped into the theatre industry. Since then he has been a part of a famous Bengali theatre group in Kolkata. His first-ever film was Notun Surjo. This movie was released in 2010. Here Shyamal Bose presented himself as a director and writer.
He also showcased his acting skills in Notun Surjo. Since then he has been unstoppable. Within years, he has come up with several movies with interesting plot summaries for people around the globe. Some notable films of Shyamal Bose are Porir Swapno, Neel Swapna, Antim Yatra, Alor Khonje, Ashani Sanket, Asamay, Samay- The Time, and many more. He has also worked with the late veteran actor Soumitra Chattopadhyay.
