Rupan Mallick is a director, actor, cum cinematographer in the Bengali film industry. He was born on 15^th October and brought up in Hooghly-Chinsurah, West Bengal. He graduated in mass communication and journalism from Surendranath College. In 2019, he founded the Creative Canvas Film and Music Studio, which deals with film and music video production. He also founded Drops Play, which deals with music, movies, and series distribution.

In 2014, he acted in Rigor Mortis, a short film for Amara Muzik Bengali. In 2017, he performed in The Feel Maker, a short directed by Santadip Mitra. In 2018, he directed the film Jishnu. In 2021, he cinematographed the web series Crossword. The same year, he cinematographed a short, Land of Lost Triggers. In 2022, his venture, Aar Deri Noy, was nominated in four categories at the Mirchi Music Awards 2022. In 2024, he cinematographed for the music album Okal Bodhon, featuring Tanisha.
