Sarafat Ali is a Bengali Chef who lives in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. He completed his senior secondary education at St. Xavier’s Night School in Park Street, Kolkata, in 1984. From 1999 to 2000, he did a diploma in Craft Course from Bengal School of Hospitality Management. Later, in 1985, he joined the Adarsh Hindi High School and did a diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He started his career as a Proprietor in Saif Food, in Pune, and continued it till April 2015. In 2006, he worked as Executive Chef in Arsalan Restaurant & Caterer and continued it till 2011. Later since 2012, he has been working as Executive Chef in Aminia Restaurant, Rajarhat, in Atgora, and later he was transferred to another branch of Aminia Restaurant in Kolkata, and currently working here.
He is skilled in Cooking, Menu Development, Restaurant and Time Management, Customer Service, and more. He is one of the most solicit after Tandoor and Mughlai Chefs of Kolkata for over three decades of experience. He has worked at many honorable restaurants and hotels across India, and nowadays, his famous recipes can be seen in magazines, newspapers, and on the social media platforms. He is a renowned face in Television Cookery shows like Rannaghar, aired on Zee Bangla.
