Madhurima Basu is an Indian Bengali chef – Culinary artist, food columnist (Print & Electronic Media Channels), Entrepreneur & Owner of “Madhurima’s Kitchen.” She was born on June 28. Madhurima Basu’s place of birth is Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She completed her primary and secondary education at Jadavpur Vidyapith, Kolkata. After that, she took Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management at the Sikkim Manipal University in 2012. Later on, she completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource (HR) in 2014. Her hobbies are sports, watching movies, and adventure. She is a fitness freak and enjoyed her workout & morning walk. She loves photography and bowling. She often loves reading books, it can be travel magazine, food or novel. Also, she did Bungee Ejection, Water ball walk, rock climbing, and so more.

Madhurima Basu has worked in Call Centre at Hutch in Kolkata for three months. She worked as a floor support and used to take Irate Customer calls, make daily reports, and manage the floor & a team of 12 – 16 people. Thereafter, she worked as an Associate Consultant (IT Vertical) at Planman Consulting India in Kolkata for two months. Her job role was to sourcing through Head Referrals, handling multiple requirements simultaneously, screening by telephonic interview, identifying prospective candidates through creative sourcing methods, and so more. Later on, she worked as a HR Administrator at Southend PC Solutions from Dec 2013 to Feb 2014. She analysed, framed, developed, and implemented HR policies, managed End to End Recruitment using various techniques, prepared & issued offer later, and much more.

Madhurima Basu left job as HR Administration, followed dream and passion & turned into a Chef and Entrepreneur. Since Feb 2012, she has been working as “Chef- Culinary Artist & Food Columnist” in Print & Electronic Media Channel. She has Pop Up Restaurant, taking food orders & cooking classes. She creates and writes recipes for leading Print Media & doing Cookery shows in television such as ABP, TOI, SANANDA, Zee, and many more. Also, she does food photography as well for Print Media. Her travel photos published in Travel magazines. She launched “Madhurima’s Kitchen” in Just-Dial, Zomato, and Quikr. She won Best Recipe contest by Master Chef Ajay Chopra on June 24, 2016. She is the winner of “Baking Queen Contest 2016” by Sananda Magazine of ABP Group and “Bake Love Celebrate Contest” by Siemens Home India. Also, she won Twitter Photography Contest by LEGRAND India.
