Nusraat Faria Mazhar famously known as Nusraat Faraia is a Bangladeshi actress who works in Dhallywood and Tollywood film industries. Besides being an actress, Nusraat also is a model, singer, television presenter, and radio jockey. She was born on 8th September 1993 in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Nusraat is the daughter of Maiharul Islam and Ferdousi Begum and has two siblings Maria Islam and Farid Islam. On March 21, 2020, Nusraat got engaged to Rony Riad Rashid. She has completed her schooling at Chittagong Cantonment Public College and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Designing from Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology in Dhaka.

She did her Bachelor of Law from the University of London. Nusraat Faria Mazhar began her career as a debater on a BTV debate show. She was the national debate champion in the years 2010 and 2011. Later, Nusraat appeared as a model in several television and print advertisements. She also hosted the reality show ‘Fair and Handsome: The Ultimate Man’ in 2014. She made her acting debut in Dhallywood with the film ‘Aashiqui’ in 2015. She also performed in the film ‘ Hero 420 Click to look into! >> Read More... ’ in 2016. She signed with Jaaz Multimedia for both movies.

Faria received Meril Prothom Alo Award for Best Newcomer in Film or Television for her acting in her debut film. She has also been a Radio Jockey and hosted shows on the radio which include Night Shift with Nusraat Faria (2013-14), and Love Buds (2015).

She released her Music Single ‘Pataka’ in 2018 with Music Composer Pritom Hasan. Apart from ‘Pataka’, Nusraat has been featured in other songs like – Ami Chai Thakte (2020), E Badhon Jabe Na Chhire (2021), and Habibi (2022). Nusraat Faria Mazhar is known for her acting. Some of her movies include – Premi O Premi (2017), Dhat Teri Ki (2017), Boss 2: Back to Rule (2017), Bibaho Obhijaan (2019), Shahenshah (2020), and many more. In 2017, Nusraat won Tele Cine Awards for Best Actress (Bangladesh) for her acting in Badsha – The Don and she won the CJFB Performance Award for best actress for her performance in the movie Shahenshah in 2021.
