Naznin Hasan Chumki is a Bangladeshi actress, scriptwriter, and director who works in the film and television industry. She is also an anchor. She was born on April 19. Her place of birth is Chuadanga, in the western part of Bangladesh. In 1996, she moved to the capital city of Dhaka to attend university and pursue her career in acting. She studied at Jagannath College (now Jagannath University) on the night shift. Simultaneously, she threw herself into acting by day. Also, she joined “Desh Theatre Group” at Jagannath College. Her nationality is Bangladeshi. Naznin Hasan Chumki marked her acting debut on television in the play “Parijat” and the serial “Jete Jete Abosheshe,” which aired on BTV. Her parents were unaware of her acting career prior to the show’s premiere.

Later, she stepped into films. She has been continuously doing television shows in addition to stage and film productions. Also, she has been working as an anchor in the program “Amra Du’jon Dekhte Kemon,” telecast on Desh TV. She is also busy writing scripts for teleplays. After receiving five hundred votes, she became a joint general secretary of the Actors Equity on January 28, 2022. In 2011, she worked in the four dramas such as Nurjahan; Bao Kurani, directed by Bikram Khan; Saat Swadagar, directed by Syed Awalad, and Utsab, directed by Rulim Rahman. In 2012, she debut as a scriptwriter for the drama “Binocular,” directed by Rajibul Hasan Rajib. In the following year, she made her directorial debut and wrote by herself for the drama “Ekti Raat Otopor Nisshunnota” in 2013. She written a television serial “Uttorpurush,” directed by Jamaluddin Jamil in 2014. In the same year, she written & directed a television play “Sonar Moyna Pakhi.” In 2015, she wrote & directed a television play “Prem Priti,” which aired on Channel 9 on Eid-ul-Adha. Naznin Hasan Chumki starred in the 2006 Bangladeshi film “Ghani,” directed by Kazi Morshed. In the film, she played the role of Moyna.

In 2013, she acted in the two films “Ekoi Britte,” directed by Kazi Morshed, and “Putul Kotha,” directed by Rony. In 2021, she acted as Fulbanu in the television series “Syed Barir Bou.” In the same year, she appeared in the thriller movie “Raat Jaga Phool,” directed by Mir Sabbir.
