Her parents are the late Mr. Upendronath Biswas and the late Mrs. Shefali Biswas. She has three siblings, all of them older than her. Her elder brother, Uttom Kumar Biswas, and her elder sister, Milli Biswas, live in Bongra, Bangladesh, while her younger sister, Lata Biswas, resides in Siliguri, India. She married her co-star in several movies, Shakib Khan, in 2005. Also known as the ‘King of Dhallywood’ he is a famous Bangladeshi actor, producer, singer, and film organizer.

He is currently the highest-paid actor in the Bangladeshi film industry, Dhallywood. They had a son, Abraam Khan Joy, in 2015. Later, they got divorced in 2016.
