Fazlur Rahman is an actor and singer who predominantly works in the Bangladeshi film industry. On August 22nd, 1960, he was born in Faridpur district, Bangladesh. He completed his education in Faridpur. His father was in government service, so their family had to move frequently. Fazlur has been fascinated by acting since his childhood. He joined "Boishakhi Natya Ghosti" to pursue his career in the media. He is best known for his work on Oggatonama, Fagun Haway, Shonkhonaad, and Meyeti Ekhon Kothay Jabe. He had also featured in an Indian film.
He is famous for his humorous characters. He has done more than 100 dramas and full-length movies. He took his first step by joining a theatre society and participating in a national drama festival. He worked in a bank in Dhaka and simultaneously participated in dramas and movies. Mrittu Khuda was his first television drama appearance. But his career took a turn when he did "Itikatha," written by Rashid. His performance was applauded and provided him with more roles in dramas. He also acted in the film "Daruchini Dip." Fazlur has also tried singing and has released two songs in the movie "Monpura." After that, people started recognizing him as a playback singer.
