Plot

Azhakan is a tribal man and Radha is an upper-middle-class kid. Azhakan’s house is behind Radha’s bungalow. They share a great bonding. Azhakan patiently replies to Radha’s questions. When Radha questions a lot about him, Azhakan tells the story of the tribal people, who suffered a lot during the emergency period in Kerala in the 50s and 60s.

Star Performance

All the stars have performed well, especially Lal. Baby Akshara Baby Akshara also known as Akshara Kishore, is a M >> Read More... had also emoted well and impressed the audiences. Rest of the star cast had done justice to the given roles.

Analysis

The director had neatly scripted the film and have dealt with the discriminations in the early period. The dialogues are sharp, but the dialects are not. The film not only focuses on the old customs of Kerala but the current family relationship too. The music and the cinematography are beautiful. The flashback scenes should have been treated well. The film reminds of Kabuliwala penned by Rabindranath Tagore, where a Pashtun develops a bonding with Mini, a middle-class family kid.

The film deals with societal issues and how certain groups of people are treated in society. With the best performance of the artists, we don’t feel bored to watch the film.
