Roja serial can be seen on Gemini Tv at 6 pm from Monday to Friday. It is a remake version of Tamil serial Roja on Sun Tv. The show began on 11 March 2019. Princy B Krishnan and Munna, are seen as lead protagonists along with Priyanka as the lead antagonist.
The drama begins with Chandrakanth and Triveni with Anu travel in a car. Suddenly an accident takes place where Chandrakanth slips into comma, Anu gets missed, and Triveni dies. The accident was planned by his younger brother Chalapathi and his friend. Roja is grown in an orphanage under Satyamurthy's guidance. Suddenly, one day, a criminal enters the orphanage without anyone's notice and tries to molest the girls, but eventually gets killed by Priya and Sakshi. They blame Satyamurthy for murder and, he gets arrested. Priya finds childhood pictures of Roja with her family. She takes advantage of it and tells Chandrakanth that she is his daughter and thereby name, Anu is given to her.
Roja, on the other side, gets married to Arun to bring Satyamurthy out of jail. Arun is a criminal lawyer and disbelieves on love and marriage. They have a marriage contract of 1 year between them. Arun is the nephew of Triveni due to which everyone in his family hates Roja, as they believe that she has taken the place of Anu. Priya tries several ways to throw Roja out of the house but fails. Roja and Arun eventually fall in love with each other and forgets about the contract. They get closure to the case but get stopped by Anu and Sakshi. Chamundeswari, sister of Arun's grandmother, returns from London. She helps them in resolving the case but leaves the family under some circumstances. Roja, in accident, losses her eyesight, and with the help of Arun and his mother, she regains her vision. The show moves forward with the concept of how Priya's fake identity comes out, will they accept Roja and how the mystery gets solved.
