He studied in Visakhapatnam till his tenth boards and moved to Guntur for his intermediate classes. Further, Venu attended Bapatla College of Pharmacy in the year 2008. Venu Kshatriya got married to Pavani in 2020. Venu Kshatriya started his career as a program producer in a radio channel in 2009. Impressed by his voice, he got the chance to work as an RJ in the same radio channel.

He also has worked as a voice artist and dubbed for short films. After his brief stint as an RJ, Venu began looking for opportunities for anchoring and worked in various channels including, Mahaa TV, Xtra filmy, Vanitha TV, Studio N, and V6 News. They roped in him to play the main lead in the comedy series Ganga tho Rambabu on Zee Telugu channel opposite Soumya Varanasi. In no time, the serial became a success, and Venu Kshatriya received praise from the audience for his excellent portrayal as Ram Pithani. The show ran successfully for three years with over three hundred episodes.
