Lavanya Nair is a Malayalam serial actress. She is known for her acting in  Avalude Katha (Her Story) on Surya TV and Avakshigal, also on Surya TV. Avakshigal was her first serial and she acted in it from its premiere in 2011 to its completion in 2013. Based on a play written by writer Vaikom Muhammed Basheer, the serial was a mega hit. Srilakshmi, the veteran comedy actor of the Telugu film industry is one of those outstanding comedians who was introduced by one of the most talented comedy directors of his time, Jandhyala. In the time when female actors were rarely taking up comical roles, Sri Lakshmi made generations of the Telugu audiences laugh with all her hilarious roles.
