Most famous TV serial actress Kinnera had played the role of Mahalakshmi.  The story revolves around young couple Shiva (male protagonist) and Ranjani (female protagonist). Ranjani is third of five children to Ramachandraiah and Mahalakshmi. They all live happily with substantial resources and Ramachandraiah keeps a lot of hopes on his elder son for financial support in future. But the elder son Vamsi, is a selfish ruthless person who deceits his own family by keeping secret about his job and earnings. With this turn of event Ramachandraiah and his family are forced to move out of town and live in city. Ramachandraiah gets lost and in weird circumstances his second son Krishna is accused for his missing and jailed from where he runs away. Father gets united with the family at the end of the story with remunerations. Meanwhile Siva and Ranjani falls in love but elude from getting married due to their family responsibilities and moral commitments.

At the end of series their love is united and get married with help of her cousin Gautham and Ramachandraiah finds his family with riches. Family gets to live happily ever after.
