Kalyani is a Telugu serial broadcast on the Gemini Tv channel. It is serial teaching how love can heal every wound, despite its depth. This serial focuses on the character named Kalyani who is blind. Kalyani has faced injustice at the hands of this society for being blind. The story of this serial starts from Kalyani’s father adopting her from an orphanage as she was left by her parents for her disability. Her adopted father and his family consider it a blessing to get a baby girl after years of craving for a child.

Kalyani grows up to be independent and loving. She is a confident and self-made person. She is also a trained dancer. On the first day of college, she gives a dance performance which impresses many teachers, but this earns her some enemies too. She always supports what is right which often makes her suffer. Next is the entry of character named Aravind, who is her love interest in this serial.

Aravind's family is not happy with their relationship. Neha becomes a sworn enemy of Kalyani because, Kalyani is a better dancer than her at college and secondly, Kalyani has managed to capture Aravind’s affection which makes Neha jealous. Neha’s family has some unresolved issues with Kalyani’s family. So they want Neha to beat Kalyani in everything in college.

Kalyani is a Tv series aired on Gemini Tv. It is a very engaging show and kept connected with the audience for its emotional sequences. On 17 June 2019, the show started its first episode. It airs at 1 pm from Monday to Friday. The story focuses on the relationship between a blind girl and her mother. Raja Shekar and Tulasi Devi had a happy married life. They have blessed with two daughters Neha and Kalyani. Later, Tulasi breaks her ties with Kalyani when she knows that she is born blind. Raja sends Kalyani to her grandparent's house to grow up and, she believes that her mother is not alive. Kalyani gets married to her love interest Aravind, who is the son of Gayathri. Tulasi and Gayathri are best friends. Aravind stays in Tulasi's house after the death of his mother. Kalyani soon knows that her mother is Tulasi, and she is alive. Tulasi increases her hatred towards Kalyani after marriage with Aravind as they need to stay in the same house.

Neha is jealous of her sister as she loves Aravind, but unfortunately, he doesn't love her back. Soon she creates more conflicts between Kalyani and her mother by creating various troubles. After receiving much hate, she still loves them and tries to solve the problems that arise to them. The show was been aired off on 22 February 2020 with the completion of 202 episodes.

Harika and Jay D'Souza played as lead roles along with Shailaja Priya, Jyothika, Vikas, and Niharika. Shailaja Priya is known for her acting in Film and Tv industry. Prabhakar replaced Vikas in the show. The episodes are available on Sun NXT.
