Sri Lakshmi is an Indian Film actress who has predominantly worked in Telugu Film industry. She is the daughter of famous telugu actor and producer Dr. Amarnath. She was born in a family with the background of Film Industry and has always had an interest towards acting as well. She started working as an actress from very early to support her family as her father had fallen sick. She completed her schooling from her hometown. When she was a kid, she used to go and attend shootings of the movie her father was working. From that, she developed a keen interest in acting and used to imitate other actresses working in the films. She used to attend the dance classes in her childhood and is a good dancer as well. She used to take part in the dance competitions held in her school and won many of them.

She also used to participate in many contest held at her locality. After a while, her father fell sick and she took responsibility of the family on her shoulders. She decided to become an actress. At first, she was able to grab minor roles. She finally got her big break after acting in comedy roles in the show directed by Jandhyala. Later, he offered Sri Lakshmi to work in Jandhyala, which turned to be a good sign in her career. Sri Lakshmi acted in over 500 films including Tamil, Kannada etc. She also did various TV plays and gained even more popularity among the audience.
