Plot

Weighing Scale – Ram and Titan are aspiring actors. Ram gets an old weighing machine from his granny, which is his favourite. He checks his weight regularly. When he is involved in an accident while going for an audition, his life turns upside down. The weighing machine flickers and tries to tell him something.

Cellular – Vannamayil reaches Chennai for a job. Her mother, who raised her as a single parent, tells her that she should regularly call her at 10:30 pm. She is used to the city life now. One day, her phone tries to communicate with her.

Compressor - Raghu and Shruti are a live-in couple. They bought a second-hand AC for their house. Soon, the compressor started producing a different sound, which made Raghu feel that there was another world behind the compressor.

Car – Britto grows a fearful child, as his father locked him inside the car, for not doing well in his academics. The trauma he experiences inside the car, as a lonely kid makes him buy a car, after he grows up.

Mirror – Sethu is a college-goer. He feels depressed after a breakup. He moves to a new rented house, where he finds a mirror, which helps his loneliness to vanish.

Star Performance

Bharath and Lingaa performed excellently. Gautami and Aditi did justice to the given roles. Ritika and Raju gave a neat performance without exaggerating any expressions. Shanthanu has performed his part well in Car. Vinoth Kishan has performed neatly.

Analysis

Each story has a different theme. Though Mirror has a slow screenplay, it is impressive with its theme and performance. The writing is gripping and innovative in Mirror. The director has made much effort to design and deliver these. Each story is unique and the performances are astounding. The star cast is the biggest plus point in this anthology. The known cast is an added advantage to the series. The visuals and music are perfect.

• The screenplay is slow in the Mirror segment
• A few loopholes here and there in a couple of stories
