were paired together in 'Rekkai Kattiya Manasu’ that was telecast in Raj TV network. K Balachander, the veteran filmmaker of South India took chances to direct this serial. The show was on air at the time slot of nine in the night. The show began airing on 19 May 2003.
The series could boast of an impressive star cast which included the names of Sharath Babu, Indu, Vardarajan, and Deepak. Divya Darshini, who was a popular anchor in Raj TV network, slowly progressed towards television serial through this famous TV project.
As Balachander is known for making family dramas with a social theme, this serial too was not an exception. L. Kaushik, who did the lead role in "Rekkai Kattiya Manasu," was judged as the best actor in the television world.
