Vanathi is a soft-natured girl who grows up in a pressured situation, where Vanathi’s foster mother and stepsister hadn’t been good to her. Vanathi had been longing for love. Vanathi is engaged to Karthik. But, Karthik doesn’t like her and comments about her at the marriage hall. After hearing his disliking towards her, Vanathi leaves the wedding hall. As she left, Vanathi’s foster mother, Amudha, plans to get her daughter Aarti married to Karthik. But, Vanathi returns, and Raja Rajeshwari asks Karthik to tie the knot with Vanathi. As he couldn’t speak against his mother, Karthik marries Vanathi. Karthik couldn’t move well with his wife. Raja Rajeshwari, who finds the discomfort between the couple, tries to clear the issues and unite them. But was she able to make it? The rest of the series deals with this.

Shamitha plays the role of Raja Rajeshwari, a caring mother-in-law. Vaishnavi Arulmozhi plays the role of Vanathi, and Vimal plays Karthik. Lakshmi plays Amudha, Vanathi’s foster mother, and Sivakumar plays Amudha’s husband, Sundaram.
