Gregorious is also known as Parumala Thirumeni. He was a Bishop in a Church. The serial starts from the childhood of Gregorious. He was born in Cochin. When the serial starts the protagonist is a boy and is called by the name Kochaippora. In the serial, they featured his early life with his brothers and sisters. His brothers were Kurian, Eli, and his sisters were named Mariam, and Varkey. After sometimes his mother dies and he is left with his siblings. His elder sister Mariam was the one who took care of him. The rest of the story deals with how his family survived and how he turned popular.
