as Anjana, Prasanna as Kesari, and Vinaya Gowda as Ravana. Lord Hanuman is a vanara avatar of Lord Shiva, who was born to defeat Ravana. It is believed that he is the son of Vayu, one of the gods. He was born to Kesari and Anjana in Kishkinda. He realizes his ability to fly at a young age, and since then, Anjana has to look after him with great care, as he had a tendency for mischief.
In his childhood, Hanuman was very fond of mangoes. One day, he saw Sun in the sky and started flying towards believing that it was a giant fruit. Lord Indra intervened and struck him with a thunderbolt, sending him down to the earth dead. Lord Shiva appears and resuscitates him and grants him immortal life. From his childhood, he was an ardent devotee of Rama, who was still a child at that time. With all the powers, Hanuman plays pranks on his fellow vanaras and everyone he sets his eyes on. One day, he pulls a prank on a sage, and the sage uses him to forget about the existence of his powers.
It was not until Ravana abducted Sita, that Hanuman reunites with Rama. He offers to help Rama find Sita. Hanuman flies to Lanka and sees Sita in Ashokavanam. He begins to destroy Lanka, prompting the soldiers to capture him. They set his tail on fire, and he flies away, setting fire to every building he lands on. In the first war, Lakshman gets hurt, and Hanuman lifts a mountain to get Sanjeevini and heal him. Later, he helps Rama defeat Ravana and bring Sita back. When Rama exiles Sita from the Kingdom, Hanuman makes sure she is safe every step of the way. It is believed that Hanuman is still in the Himalayas chanting the ‘Rama’ mantra.
