The serial begins with a young woman named Vidya talking with her Guruji about a rebel and evil entity named Pishachini. Pishachini is ambitious and wants to become the most powerful being in the world. However, to become so, she needs to possess three stones/gems. Guruji had enlisted the care of two of those gems with his two disciples whom Pishachini had already killed. She now owns the two gems, Mayavi Ratna and Tatva Ratna, which give her the power to create illusions and control the elements. The third gem is under the care of Guruji himself. The gem is known as the Kaal Vijay Ratna, which is the most powerful of all the gems as it gives the bearer the power to see the future and change it. When Pishachini comes to take the gem Guruji and Vidya initially defeat her and outrun her. However, Guruji warns Vidya that as the gem chose her as the vessel, her children will be born with the powers of the Kaal Vijay Ratna, and every evil entity will be after them for their powers.

After obtaining this knowledge, Vidya makes a run for her life, and Guruji helps her to escape. When her daughters Divya and Drishti are born, they possess the power of seeing the future and changing it. When Pishachini comes after, Vidya and her husband manage to save both of them but end up sacrificing themselves for their protection. The sisters run away but eventually get separated after different families adopt them. 20years later, they get to see each other unknowingly, and even then, they feel a strong bond whenever they meet because of their powers. How they accomplish their dreams, if they ever reunite and whether they can defeat Pisachini for good when she rears her ugly head is what constitutes the rest of the episodes.
