Out of these six, only four were selected based on their dance performances. This sudden change increased the tension among the participants and made them more competitive and better dancers. Two pre-recorded new episodes were released every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 PM. The couple performed after a vigorous practice. The judges scored them on a scale of 10.

Audiences could also vote for their favorite couples through Sony LIV app. The votes of the judges and the audience were summed up in a 50-50 manner. After the scoring, the couples were ranked based on their respective scores. The two pairs with the lowest scores were given a last chance in a dance-off. This segment was known as “Last Chance to Dance”. This dance-off was broadcast in the upcoming week’s episode. They are again given scores for their respective performances. The couple who loses is eliminated from the show. Only five couples reached the finale episode, including Manisha Rani-Ashutosh Pawar, Dhanashree Verma-Sagar Bora, Sreerama Chandra-Sonali Kar, Adrija Sinha-Akash Thapa, and Shoaib Ibrahim-Anuradha Iyengar. Dhanashree Verma had an injury during this season, but still managed to perform brilliantly well. Her self-resilience and dedication for the show was well appreciated by the judges. Adrija Sinha won the heart of the judges many times and was often referred to as the perfect score queen. She was one of the best performers who reached the finale. Awez Darbar was one of the most appreciated wild card entries of this season. He won the Judge’s choice and was even selected. He withdrew his name from the competition due to severe medical injuries. Many different variations and creative ideas were implemented every weekend. The “Family ka Jalsa” Week called the family members of the participants on the stage of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. In the “Chaar ka Vaar” segment, two couples were paired together as a team. Judges evaluated and gave marks according to their combined performance. A trio dance week was also created in the fifth week.
