Varma Vijay is an Indian actor who was born on 8 January 1986 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Vijay comes from a Marwari family based in Hyderabad. He started his acting career as a theatre artist in his hometown and acted in plays for two years before he applied at FTII and got accepted, but his parents were against that, lucky for him his friend funded him to go to FTII Pune.
After finishing his post-graduate course, Vijay relocated to Mumbai in search of acting jobs. His first acting work was in a short film titled Shor, it was a huge success and went on to win best short movie at the MIAAC festival. From there he went to act in several movies his most recent movie appearance was in Super 30 where he played an older version of Fugga Kumar.
