Sonali Kar is an Indian dancer and choreographer known for her unique performance style. She was born on September 5, 1989, and raised in Kolkata, West Bengal. Sonali Kar showed an intense passion for dancing since early childhood and was always encouraged by her parents. So, after completing her education in Kolkata, she shifted to Mumbai to pursue her dreams.Â
Sonali Kar's ambition and hard work led her to audition for various reality dance shows in Mumbai after training herself. She made her debut on Indian television by contesting in Dance India Dance on Zee TV in 2011 alongside her choreographer partner, Cornell Rodrigues. This opportunity made her a sensation among the audience, gaining massive support for her performances. In 2017, she debuted as a choreographer on Sony TV's Super Dance, giving her talent well-deserved recognition in the industry.
