The Magic Makeup Box is an Indian television serial for children. The story is about a young boy name Abhay who along with his friends finds a magical make-up box. The story revolves around these children and their adventures. The Magic Makeup Box was aired on Zee TV on the 7th of September in the year 2003. The serial was broadcasted on every Sunday. As the title conveys, the box has magical features which can transform anyone into any character from any period whether it be past or present or even the future. The story is strange yet wonderful which attracts the children and stick to their seats.Â
After Abhay and his friends discover the magical box they maintain it a secret. However, the wicked characters in the story discover the magical make-up box. After that, the story continues with the evil people chasing the children for the magic box and every time the children smartly escape from the trap of evil people. In this hide and seek game between characters and children the magical characters created using the magical make-up box add an entertainment in each episode. The elements of entertainment, adventure, fantasy, magic and comedy not only attracted the children but also the elders. After a successful magical journey the show ended in the month of June of the year 2008.

Shweta Basu Prasad is a TV and film actress. She was born on 11 January 1991 in Jamshedpur and brought up in Mumbai. Her mother, Sarmishta, is a Bengali and father Anuj is a Bihari.
