It was adaptation of Piel De Otono, a popular Mexican soap opera which was produced by Televista. The story was about a modern contemporary woman who is married with two children, She had a love marriage with Veeresh and she really loves her family. When she is in her 40s, she has a middle age crisis and suddenly feels that she is taken for granted by her family and her sacrifices of her own dreams and wishes for the welfare of the family have no meaning for them. She is ignored by the family members and is treated in an insulting manner when she needs the support of the family in her mid life crisis the most. She realizes that she no more enjoys the place of importance in the life of her husband Veeresh who used to do anything for her as her lover at one point of time, and she has been turned in to a habit for Veeresh. Her children, for she was the world at one point of time, now have grown up, have their own company and no more need the mother any more. The serial was liked by the viewers for its content and relevance to the present day Indian Society.
