The story starts with a Madwadi joint family, the Agarwals, who prioritize family over anything.

Om Agarwal is the eldest son and is married to Parwati. Parwati is loved by all and shoulders the responsibilities of the whole house. Kamal Agarwal is the youngest son who is married to Pallavi. Pallavi is a wicked lady who conspires against the family. To take her down, Parvati conspires against her to reveal the truth. Kamal kicks her out of home, but Pallavi brings her back because she is family. Om takes the guardianship of his late friend’s blind daughter, Khushi. But on an unfortunate night, Khusi is raped by Devin and Rohan who are Om’s cousins. Parvati tries to register a court case against them to punish them. The men of the family think Parwati is defaming the family publicly. It causes a rift between the men and the women of the family. Later, Om takes Parvati’s side and reveals the truth. Rohan and Devin are sent to jail. Pallavi is once again scheming against the Agarwals to obtain their property.

The Agarwals have lost everything and even their position in their company. Parvati pretends to join forces with Pallavi to help the Agarwals regain their lost respect and wealth. Parvati succeeds and everything settles. 20 years have passed. Parvati discovers Om’s extramarital affair with Trishna. Om, however, tells everyone that he was framed but nobody believes him. Later, Om dies in an accident. Now Parvati is heading their company. She forms a deep friendship with her competitor, Suyash Mehra. Shortly after, she discovers evidence suggesting Suyash killed Om. She marries him to avenge Om’s death. She makes his life hell and even puts him in jail. Suyash does not accept killing Om and warns Parvai that the real killer is in her house.

Parvati later discovers Trishna is the real killer. Trishna also kills Kamal’s son, Krishna, as he discovers her truth. Trishna cunningly frames Parvati for both murders. Parvati goes to jail and dies sometime later. Parvati’s daughter, Shruti, hates her. 20 years have passed. Parvati’s lookalike, Janki Devi appears. She is actually Parvati in disguise. She is a rich and graceful lady. She challenges Trishna gracefully and threatens her. But the family has already been manipulated by Trishna. The biggest twist is Om had survived the accident and was living with memory loss. Parvati is successful in making him remember his true identity. They join forces to tackle Trishna. Eventually, good triumphs over evil, and the family is reunited.
